However, it is crucial to note that these through-holes are NOT load-bearing features. The top track carries all the structural load-bearing responsibility in an Elfa system.
If you are using older, discontinued versions of the Hang Standards, you can easily recognise them as they do not have these circular through-holes. It is very important not to mix old and new Hang Standards within the same unified assembly, as this can cause shelves to sit unevenly and potentially damage gliding components.
