Designing the perfect Elfa Lego workstation involves balancing storage, functionality, and workspace needs. In this project, I developed four distinct workstation concepts tailored to optimise storage and provide flexibility for creative projects. Whether you need efficient organisation for Lego pieces or a dedicated desk setup, Elfa’s modular system delivers customised solutions. Watch the full walkthrough below…
Exploring the Four Elfa Lego Workstation Concepts
- Versatile Storage with Shelving (Concept 1)
- This design includes six gliding baskets for organising Lego pieces and accessories.
- Two 500mm click-in shelves provide workspace essentials, while reversible top shelves add flexibility.
- Desk-Friendly Layout (Concept 2)
- A single column of baskets leaves room for a chair, transforming the storage system into a desk.
- Storage boards are placed side-by-side for accessible organisation.
- Bespoke Shelving with Knee Space (Concept 3)
- Custom-sized shelves crafted from white-faced MDF ensure durability and flexibility.
- The design splits into two 450mm bays, creating a knee hole for seated use.
- Maximised Workspace (Concept 4)
- Prioritising desk space, this streamlined layout places baskets on one side.
- Bespoke shelving offers tailored sizing and enhanced usability.
